Computer Technology


The Department of Computer Technology has been in existence since the inception of G.P. Beed in 1985 and has grown into a full fledged department with specialisations in all the major areas of Computer Technology.

The Department has well-established Programming Lab, Software & Development Lab, Hardware & Networking Lab, Internet & Project Development Lab, Electronics & Microprocessor Lab. Various activities are organized to develop soft skills of the students such as In-plant Training, Paper Presentation, Industrial Visits, and Expert Lectures, etc.

Computer engineers use the basic principles of microprocessors, algorithms, testing and development languages to design and development almost all system products. Today’s computer engineers may work on developing realtime systems for manufacturing, develop a software for various functionality, hardware project, etc.
