Introduction

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering has been in existence since the inception of G.P. Beed in 1994 and has grown into a full fledged department with specialisations in all the major areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Department has well-established Digital Workshop, Microprocessor Lab, Micro-controller Lab, Digital Electronics Lab. Various activities are organized to develop soft skills of the students such as Paper Presentation, Industrial Visits, and Expert Lectures, etc.

Electronics engineers use the basic principles of digital & analougue communication, frequency modulation, Communication channels, bandwidth to design and almost all products. Today’s electronics engineers may work on developing communication systems for Communication, develop a prototype of a digital systems.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO 1.   Provide socially responsible, environment friendly solutions to Electronics and Communication engineering related broad-based problems adapting professional ethics.
PEO 2.   Adapt state-of-the-art Electronics and Communication engineering broad-based technologies to work in mul-ti-disciplinary work environments.
PEO 3.   Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work.

PO 1. Basic knowledge:
    Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, sciences and basic engineering to solve the broad-based Electronics and Communication engineering problems.

    Apply Electronics and Communication engineering knowledge to solve broad-based Civil engineering related problems.
PO 3. Experiments and practice:
    Plan to perform experiments and practices to use the results to solve broad-based Electronics and Communica-tion engineering problems.

    Apply relevant Electronics and Communication technologies and tools with an understanding of the limitations.

    Assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to practice in field of Electronics and Communication engineering.

    Apply Electronics and Communication engineering solutions also for sustainable development practices in soci-etal and environmental contexts.
